Greetings and salutations and welcome to Nerd So Hard University. Home of the Greater Carney Wargaming and Role Playing Society.
Impressed? Yeah, don't be. We are of unrepentant middle aged nerds enjoying ourselves with our various hobbies and now pontificating about it like every other like minded group of nerds on the internet. If you're reading any of this, I hope you find some glimmer of intelligence or humor, if not, oh well that's the beauty of the internet, it's big. (cue Douglas Adams quote now)
So what will be on this blog? Several members of our group will hopefully be gracing this space with their ideas and experiences. Our main nerd gaming time is spent with Privateer Press' Warmachine and Hordes. While I hate the term, we will pontificate on our meta and talk about our travels and defeats in the local tournament scene and the heated competitive scene that is the Nerd So Hard Main Campus, also known as Joey Baltimore's garage on a Wednesday night.
In addition to our Warmahordes thoughts and experiences, I hope to showcase everyone's various armies over the next few months, both from Warmahordes and even our old days in 40k.
I'll also be typing a series of articles about the Pathfinder RPG including a campaign journal of Season 1 of our Rappan Athuk campaign.
Hopefully some of the other guys will drop in with some reviews of board games and other game systems as well giving you some content on a semi-regular basis.
